BA has designed Shoma One, a project comprised of two 40-story residential towers located between Douglas Road, Bird Road and US1 in Miami, Florida. The design of Shoma One features clean structural lines on the façade framed by the gentle curvatures along the sides of the building that rise to hold the crowns bringing both elegance and simplicity to the primary elevations.

The residential towers, totaling 723 units, will be supported by a motor drive that introduces the resident to each respective tower lobby and parking, internalizing the motor court on so as not to add congestion to the busy intersection. The ground floor provides a business center, dog care zone and dog park; The expansive amenity level hosts the Pool, Fitness, Great Room and Social Lounge, Media room and Kid zones including indoor and outdoor play.

With upwards of 1 million SF of construction space, the project will also host The Shoma Bazaar, an upscale eatery on the ground and second floor. With over 18,000 SF of commercial space, The Bazaar transforms the corner of Bird Road and US1 with outdoor eating in the courtyard and the plaza and an indoor venue. The design of Shoma One encompasses the warmth of Miami through traditional architecture, detailing and materials, while simultaneously supporting a modern lifestyle.
