This Mediterranean style building was designed to suit Coral Gables founder George Merrick’s vision of a walkable downtown district. Formerly a city parking lot, the structure clearly defines street sidewalks and illuminates the pedestrian framework to provide an amenable destination for public activities and interaction.
The retail portion is positioned along the street, promoting a pedestrian environment. Retail spaces screen the covered parking area of the building which is accessible through a set back vehicular entrance courtyard.
