Luis Sousa has specialized in the design of healthcare facilities for more than 28 years. He leads BA Health, as a Partner and Vice President of the South Florida Planning & Design Studio. Luis has worked on some of the largest and most complex healthcare projects in the Southeast, including many Baptist Health South Florida projects in the tri-county area. Additionally, Luis is a Fulbright Fellow and has the honor of having designed award-winning memorials in his career.

Dr. Horacio E. Oduber Hospital (HOH) - Oranjestad, Aruba
On February 26, 2012, a public/private foundation and B&A entered into an agreement for the design and engineering of the Dr. Horacio E. Oduber (HOH) Expansion and Renovation Program. New Construction consists of a new Patient Tower to house a new Emergency Department, a 5-bed Labor and Delivery area, a 21- bed Post-Partum unit, an 18-bed Pediatrics unit, and a 16-bed Neo- Natal unit. The third, fourth, and fifth floors will consist of a 30-bed Medical/Surgical Patient Care unit. A separate 3-story Medical Office Building will also be constructed to house outpatient clinics.
