PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Downtown Doral Park (Doral Triangle), Florida - QA/QC.

The project consists of the conceptual design of a 12,500 square foot (maximum) cultural arts center and surrounding park space for the 1.44 acre triangle shaped parcel located between Downtown Doral Park and the intersection of NW 53rd Street and NW 53rd Terrace.

Truman Waterfront Park Master Plan & Streetscape, Key West, Florida - QA/QC.

BA designed a 23-acre waterfront master plan. The park incorporates a 50-foot-wide promenade, an open-air amphitheater, a Turtle Rescue Hospital, a 15,000-SF event plaza with tent structure, a renovated Navy Generator Plant to be reused for a restaurant and historical museum, a dock-master facility, an interactive water feature, an exercise trail, outdoor zoological exhibits, a ferry terminal, a 60+ boat marina, a fishing pier, and a new recreation complex for the adjacent residential community of Bahama Village.

Boca Wellness and Imagine Center (Spa), Boca Raton, Florida - Project Manager.

BA provided a marketing package for a prototypical wellness and Imaging center in Boca Raton. The project was broken down into three phases: deliverable of site analysis, programming and marketing rendering material.

FIU SW 112th Avenue Entrance, Miami , Florida - QA/QC.

BA created a new, prototype entrance feature for the main campus of Florida International University. Design vocabulary for this ceremonial entrance, symbolizing the university and creating a sense of place, employs standards such as the use of arches and keystone material. The four-lane entry drive passes under a portal bearing the university name and logo. A row of royal palms extends to the public roadway. Decorative pavers accent the plaza and driveway, and dramatic lighting calls attention to the trees and arches.
