BA completes NYCEDC’s First-In-Nation Offshore Wind & Waterfront Training Program for M/W/DBEs

BA has successfully completed the first-in-the-nation, Offshore Wind and Waterfront Training program led by New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC). Being selected for the inaugural cohort of the training program is an honor and BA is thankful to NYCEDC and its partners for recognizing the potential of MWDBEs and providing resources and education to a growing waterfront construction and the offshore wind sector.

NYCEDC curated an exceptional program, led by distinguished business experts and professionals at the forefront of the offshore wind industry in New York and New England. The program provided necessary training to take part as stakeholders in the next generation of renewable energy.

As a NYC certified MBE firm, BA is eager to provide architectural, coastal and marine engineering services in support of waterfront design and construction. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the offshore wind industry, and we’re excited to share our professional services in the growth of renewable energy in New York City.

Middle Country Public Library in Centereach NY featured as one of year’s most impressive in America­­­n Libraries magazine

The Middle Country Public Library in Centereach, New York was featured in American Library’s most recent issue showcasing the year’s most impressive new and renovated libraries. BA’s scope of work which concluded in mid-2022 included architectural design, construction documentation, and construction administration services for the selective demolition and renovation of existing components of the Centereach Public Library, and the addition of two smaller buildings to support required alterations.

Pompano Beach McNab House and Botanical Gardens

The City of Pompano Beach selected BA to provide Design Services for the McNab House and Botanical Gardens. As the original concept planners for this project, BA is intimately familiar with its history, vision, and incredible potential. The opportunity to transform the historic McNab House into a vibrant commercial venue and to create a world class botanical garden that will serve as a sanctuary for the community is a task we approach with great enthusiasm and dedication.

Plaza Premium Lounge at Orlando International (MCO) ranked as one of the 10 Best Priority Pass Lounges in the World

BA designed Plaza Premium Group’s state-of-the-art lounge at Orlando International Airport (MCO) that caters to Orlando’s unique mix of business and leisure travelers. The public lounge in Terminal C features custom-designed seating options, quiet zones, workspaces and a family-friendly zone and has a curated Orlando Storytelling Wall developed in partnership with the Orlando Museum of Art.

Caen-Ouistreham partners with B&A Europe to develop cruise facilities

BA has successfully completed the first-in-the-nation, Offshore Wind and Waterfront Training program led by New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC). “Set to Open Nov. 9th, 2022, Royal Caribbean Group’s new Galveston terminal will be the first cruise terminal to generate 100% of its needed energy through on-site solar panels”. as shown in a featured article in Seatrade Cruise News linked below.

The $125m, 161,334-square-foot terminal at Pier 10 will accommodate up to 630,000 passengers per year and will be home to the Oasis-class Allure of the Seas, among other ships. 

Proposed School of Nursing & Health Sciences Expansion

BA healthcare team provided a feasibility study to expand the current University of Miami School of Nursing & Health Sciences building which included space planning, design narratives, and conceptual images. We proposed creating a 24,000 square-foot, 3-floor expansion while also updating the façades, grade level improvements, and internal layouts. The design language is striking, modern, and in keeping with the UM mandate to populate the campus with contemporary architecture.

North Miami Beach Hanford Boulevard Public Streetscape

The Hanford Boulevard Streetscape Kit-of-Parts is the recommended design guidance intended to unify development and establish a framework for coordinating streetscape elements within the public right-of-way along Hanford Boulevard. Such improvements are intended to establish a palette of streetscape furnishings/treatments that unite redevelopment within the pedestrian realm and improve streetscape conditions that enforce a unique design identity for this critical area of the Fulford Mixed-Use Town Center District.
