Construction underway on Embassair FBO

March 21, 2022
Progress is well underway on the Embassair Fixed Base Operator (FBO), a sleek and futuristic looking privately run airport located on the south side of Miami Opa-Locka Executive Airport. Embassair hosts two hangars under one roof and measures 84,000 square feet. The building is a concrete CMU shell with steel trusses and joist forming a curved roof. Our BA construction administration team includes Steve Pynes, Bayardo Sandoval, Karina Castrodad, Randy Hollingworth, Kirk Olney, Fatima Montoya, Liliana Andrade, and Tania Nuño. Nice progress team!

Shortlisted!

This phase consists of an artificial turf soccer field surrounded by a track with lights, a small stage, restroom/concession building and expanded parking. The rankings will go before City council who will make the final decision on the project award. Good luck to our Landscape Architecture team!
