Dr. Deborah Franqui’s extensive work in post-occupancy evaluation (POE) encompasses more than 15 POEs, which include: University Health System, Chase Brexton, Hennepin County Medical Center Whittier Clinic, Village Facility Medicine, and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (Research work at Clemson University). Dr. Deborah Franqui’s translation of pre-design research and post-occupancy evaluations results in the development of evidence-based design guidelines, which optimize operational efficiency, clinical effectiveness, and user experience.
