Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal 3

Client: Port Canaveral
Location: Cape Canaveral, Florida

BA designed and delivered the groundbreaking 200,000 SF Cruise Terminal 3 to the Canaveral Port Authority and Carnival Cruise Line. This state-of-the-art facility was built for the line’s 6,500-passenger vessel, Mardi Gras, the first North American-based LNG powered cruise ship.

In close collaboration with port and cruise line stakeholders, BA ensured the facility met the advanced logistical and aesthetic requirements of today’s cruise industry. Highlights of the project include an 1,800-space parking garage, a dedicated luggage drop building, accompanying warehouse, and extensive site work that features enhancements to George King Boulevard. As the largest single project ever undertaken by the Canaveral Port Authority, Cruise Terminal 3 not only represents a significant milestone in infrastructure development but also underscores BA’s role in redefining maritime architecture
