BA developed a strategic master plan and designed the new $125 million cruise terminal facility to serve Royal Caribbean’s largest cruise ships, including Oasis and Icon-classes. Terminal 10 is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as mobile check-in and facial recognition, to expedite guest arrival. Spanning 161,300 SF, the building offers spacious areas and intuitive wayfinding to and from the ship.

Alongside the new terminal, the port invested approximately $20 million in port improvements, including an interior roadway, utilities, landscaping, pier upgrades, and a 1,550-space parking lot.

This terminal is distinguished as the first cruise terminal to generate 100% of its required energy through on-site solar panels. The
achievement positions it as the world’s first LEED Zero Energy facility and the first LEED Gold-certified facility in the region.
